Lois Hole pilots the Pandas' car in the Parade Community spirit with a little bit of cheerleading sums up the U of A's participation in the 1999 Klondike Days Parade. Chancellor Lois Hole was at the helm of our championship athletes' car, which included members of the Pandas volleyball, basketball and wrestling and Golden Bears' hockey.
The Office of Alumni Affairs entry in the Dragon Boat Festival The Office of Alumni Affairs rallied some troops for the Edmonton Dragon Boat Festival.

The suits take a turn flipping burgers The 2nd Annual President's Staff Appreciation Picnic on August 12 drew about 3000 hungry staffers, 45 volunteers and one U of A Golden Bear Pet Band.

President Fraser spoke to many of the staff members in attendance While staff members ate their way through 3000 hamburgers, 1500 hot dogs, 450 veggie burgers and 200 veggie dogs, President Fraser made his way through the crowd. For many in attendance, this was their first chance to meet the president and enjoy a brief chat.
